I felt nasty yesterday - I'd felt iffy Thursday, but it went away midday. Most of yesterday I felt icky. So I worked from home. I'd have loved to call in sick, but I had two critical tasks due that day - not the day for a sick day. I actually got a lot done, over the course of the day, and the two critical tasks were both completed along with a myriad of other little things.
That was, basically, yesterday. My focus was shot all to heck and by evening I kept falling asleep while trying to do other things. This morning I am feeling, as I expected, much better.
It's absolutely gorgeous and sunny out; my parents will be coming over at about 1 for a belated birthday for me; I may go for a walk before then. Unfortunately, if I do, it will have to be a very short/circling walk because I have that stupid phone. Which is what has dissuaded me from it so far. I get no exercise in weeks I carry that phone...that is not true. But walking is my favorite form of exercise and it takes me too far from response, too quickly, so I tend to neglect it badly when I have the phone. Feh!
It depends on how much I feel like circling the block. I don't, really. I want to go out and walk. And I can't, honestly, do that with this phone. So I'll probably find some other direction to channel the energy, which is a pity. :) At least on the new schedule, I'll dare more. Only one week in twelve will I have the twenty-minute-preferably-less-response-time phone. Meh.
Had to get up this morning to check a site we're doing regular check-ups on. Resented it last night. This morning, I was glad the alarm got me up, as I now feel energetic and ready to go. So, this is probably a good thing.
