I got the usual household chores, and some extra cooking, done; but that was about it. Bah. I need to work on getting my weekends more productive, there's too much stuff I want done.
I also attempted to read more books. Wen Spencer's Alien Taste and Markus Zusak's I am the Messenger are the latest casualties of my boredom, although the latter earned a flip-skim to the end. Um. Not entirely surprising, also, what-ever. Mark J. Ferrari, The Book of Joby. Also failed to grab me; I think someone on my friends-list recommended it in general in a post of theirs, but it pretty much lost me at the prologue and never got me back. I did flip-skim to the end, but I don't think I missed much except 15 minutes by doing so. *wry*
On the plus side, it means I'm keeping ahead of my library holds for once?
Have re-read Cast In Shadow, happily. Would like to reread Iron Kissed, if I knew where I'd put it. Sigh.
Cats are still appallingly cute. Apple and Babe were sprawled next to me, not very far apart, for a while.
