But they accepted our offer on the house.

You certainly had more anxiety than I did... I met the realitor at the house on my lunch break to formally make the offer (the previous residents had been living in Arizona or thereabouts for several months) In an hour or two phone calls were coming in at work as we played the counteroffer game ;^)

So, you are going to have a housewarming party, right? :-)
