Sorry. Saw a link to this post and needed to share. Not precisely wanted to. If you love animals and are not needing to be upset, don't follow the link.
The things people will do are sick. That is just horrifying.
Yes, this is a purely emotive post. I am a bleeding heart who loves animals. I'm a bit upset.

But as I said in my LJ, if anyone had done that to my Chynna (essentially my 'child'), there would be no one left standing in the bloody death-path I would create on my warpath to those responsible for her murder, I fear.
What just kills me about all of this is that no one would just slaughter someone's grandmother, child or cousin for being a 'nuissance', but they think it's ok to do so to someone's pet who was so obviously a domestic animal, someone's beloved family member (as she mentioned this animal was plump, neutered and whatnot)...
Sure, perhaps the animal overpopulation thing is a problem, but it is unacceptable to destroy an animal so quickly when there is every indication that this could be someone's pet (especially when it's in a residential area).

So not only did they destroy the animals far too quickly, given they were taken in a residential neighborhood and looked pet-like, but what right did they have to destroy them at ALL? They weren't supposed to be catching cats.
