From [livejournal.com profile] thefridayfive:

1. How long have you had your LiveJournal/blog?

*checks user info* For a bit over four years, at this point.

2. What do you consider to be the main purpose of your LiveJournal/blog?

Talking about my life. Communicating with friends/family. This means chatting about daily events, whining when I want to, sharing good news, blathering about world events now and then, etc., etc. Whatever strikes my fancy. This is definitely not a 'blog' in any sense that I would use the word, but very much a journal.

3. If you could change something about your personal blogging style, what would it be?

The amount of things I forget. I'd be able to just think of a witty post and it would put itself up. (I think of witty posts so rarely, it would be nice to save most or all of them.) Other than that? Nothing, really. I like how I use my LJ. (If I drive you nuts, consider this a warning sign. *grins*)

4. What are your criteria for adding someone to your friends list/blog roll?

They must either be someone I want to grant access to my friends-only posts, or they must be interesting to read. Both would be preferable. It's nice if they don't post pictures that make my friends page scroll unreadably side-to-side or, if they do so, that it is not frequent. (It makes all the other posts hard to read. I use my friends page a lot for reading, so that's a fairly major nuisance.)

5. Name one thing that you've never before written about in your LJ/blog.

Richard Nixon.

At least, I don't think I have and I can't imagine why I would have.
