I feel like I've done enough shopping for the month, really. But I now have pants that fit (the ones that have fit so far are starting to not be comfortable, and as I've three months left to go, I went up a size). I have a dress I can wear comfortably around the house. I have groceries (eating is a good thing; being able to eat what you want is even better). We have more kitty litter, or rather we will when Scott hauls it in from the car this evening. That's a 40-pound bag, and I haven't the least intent of wrestling it into the house. I have returned my library books, thus avoiding overdue fines, and picked up a couple holds that were in.
I'd ask if I can now sit still and vegetate, but in a half hour I have to take my car over to be checked (funny brake noises occasionally; I want to know if they're serious or just funny noises). At least they have a nice waiting room and I can sit and read one of my library books as I wait. After that I come home and we meet with the landscaper. After that, if I want to comfortably wear my new pants, I have to do laundry. Then, I vegetate.
Tuesday I did a LOT of cleaning around the kitchen area in prep for the gaming group being here yesterday (first time in a couple months - I didn't want them here during Babe's illness because she couldn't see and the dining room table, where we game, was right in her path between litter, food, and napping spot). I was physically exhausted and whiny at the end, that's how much I overdid. Wednesday, the gaming group didn't happen because too many people couldn't make it (that's how it goes sometimes) and my day was busy and and and...so I was mentally exhausted. Today I'm back to physically tired. Hopefully tomorrow, when I have only a half-day of commitments, I can slow down and feel semi-human come evening....
