*yawn* G'morning.

No clue what's up with the guy they were after last night, the one who fled into our neighborhood. I haven't seen any news story indicating they got him, at any rate. (I suspect he was already out of the area by the time I made the first post, though. The thing started at 3 and they searched for him with police dogs. I can't imagine not finding him if he had actually stayed in the vicinity, in that case.)

Hopefully the weekend will be less exciting or, if it is exciting, it will be some form of positive excitement, at least. Right now, I could do with straight relaxation, though.

While driving home today, I saw the license plate PTY WGN. Cute. I saw a sports car the other day with the license plate COFFIN. WHY would you want that? *shivers* He wasn't driving like he intended to make it live up to its plate, thank goodness.

Our Christmas tree is now up. Oh, wait, it's up all year round. Fine, our Christmas tree is now in from the garage and plugged in. That's it, though - blown clean of dust, brought in, lit. I haven't put up ornaments. I haven't even found the stupid tree skirt for around the base. I thought I used some red fabric last year but I cannot find it. I may just buy one. This year I have fresh greens to lay around the base also, for the scent.
